Turban Style Headband

This is so much easier to do than I thought it was!

Gold Saturn on Telemundo Miami

A way to style curly hair with a turband inspired by Project Runway

I can't wait to try this!!!:)

Baby & mommy style

Since celeb moms and their daughters like Katie & Suri or Jada & Willow have been such fashionista inspiration I am now out and about buying the cutest items for my little fashionista. Here are a few fab finds.

Bleeker Collection at Baby GAP

Old Navy
Every little girl needs a tutu. Sadly the Chanel looking jacket I bought and the fur vest I saw aren't online, so check them out in the store-too cute!!!

gaga for turbans and turbands, here's where to find them

Stylist, June Ambrose not only wears turbans, but shared a place to find turbands on twitter (follow her @juneambrose) and I am gushing so I had to share!!

Where to find turbans:

Sally's Beauty Supply
It says it's a terry turban online, but it looks like the one I have and it's only $5.50! This would be a fun DIY to add pearls or rhinestones to:)

Forever 21
Knit turban, $8.80
I couldn't find the turbands online anymore, but they still might be online.

Gold Saturn
Prices range from $40-52

Here are some more on AMAZON:

Fashionalities is at it again...testing out Payless knee high boots for AOL's Stylelist

Hey all,

Thanks for checking out my first tried and tested piece for AOL last week for Ann Taylor...I am excited to share that I did it again for AOL Stylelist this week on the Style Council at Payless and actually got some knee high boots to make it up my calves:)  I've always had a problem wearing knee high boots, regardless of my size so it was amazing that I actually got these bad boys on and they were on sale:)

Stay tuned to next week for another round of trying things on you'd find at a mall:)  Let me know your thoughts!

Kourtney Kardashian style

After watching the teaser for Keeping up with the Kardashians in January, I started to really appreciate Kourtney's style.  Here are some looks I found that will be inspiring my fall style.
I love these pants.

Leopard again.  Check out my post on the leopard trend here.
I so love turbans!  I think this is a DIY project in the works for me.
This is the exact look I am searching for an ivory boyfriend blazer.
This is the hat that got me searching...I need something like this.

The hat again...and I love the bag...leopard again:)
Full view.

I am a mix of Carrie and Charolette from SATC, how about you?

I've always loved apart of the style of each of the characters in SATC, but I am more of a mix of Char and Carrie.  I'm so excited about SATC2 coming out tomorrow so I can start watching on repeat.
I found out about this almost SATC polyvore fun time today on twitter and had to share with everyone.  Get on and share your styling ideas for the ladies of SATC here.

Everyday outfit inspiration

I am all about finding ways to find daily inspiration for my looks. I wanted to share some of my new and old time favorite resources.

Every season, Net-a-Porter offers a Lookbook and a magazine to highlight all of the styles they will sell on the site from the runways with insider information from designers to stylists. The books are available to anyone who purchases items on the site.

Fifi Lapin just published a must-have book looking at fashion through a rabbits eye. It's cute, but also has so many inspirational DiY tips and more.

I am so excited about my new fashion agenda called Stylit by B Jones! It's genius!! It's $25 and sold on Etsy.

I want everything in leopard

New on the Outnet, a cashmere leopard cardigan for only $66.50!!
Urban Outfitters, $38 I would rock this with a belt.  Free shipping using code: UOctober
Mulberry for Target, this is the piece I decided on:)
This H&M dress is in stores now.

Karen Millen from ASOS
Twenty8Twelve by s.miller for only $36 on the Outnet

Did you know the LOFT sells shoes???

I love sharing something new with friends...I remember when I heard that the LOFT was gifting me boots to try out, I was curious how they would look since I had never seen shoes at the LOFT before. When I got them I was so excited-they are so cute and the great thing is the LOFT always has sales so they have a 30% off right now by using the code: firstlook. Sadly, I always have problems with high boots fitting my calves so I passed these fab boots on to my sis and she is rocking them with her H&M dress---I love this look!!

If I could go, I would...since I can't I had to share...enjoy!

The new must-have watch from Sweedan

Have you heard of Triwa watches??  I just found out about it on Martha Stewart today.  I usually don't wear watches...but, this style caught my eye.  I love the brilliant colors...apparently they change each season which is really cool.  Plus, the price isn't that bad at around $195.  Just had to share my new find that I was surprised to have found out through Ms. Stewart herself rocking a turquoise Triwa watch:)

My new must-have book: Elements of personal style

Mainly because Tracee Ellis Ross is featured:)

My Payless buy today

I had to share my amazing buy today!!! These flats are on sale for only $7 in store...they are around $16 online...if you sign up for emails you still get coupons to go with this great price...I got an extra 20% off of the $7!!!

I am a fashion FANATIC

I used to stop anyone to ask them where they bought what they are wearing...or, I'd scribble down my ideas/inspiration...now, with my smartphone I just take pics and add it to my wardrobe app that has an inspiration section. Here are some pics in my phone that I've used as fall inspiration recently.

Chiffon Maxi Skirt

I had been wanting to buy the American Apparel chiffon skirt after seeing Emily from Cupcakes & Cashmere rocking this but couldn't see myself paying $60 for a skirt from American Apparel. So, I was very excited when I found the chiffon maxi skirt at ASOS on sale for only $15!!! I just got it today and I'm in love so I had to share:). I love how both American Apparel and Emily used a brown belt to accessorize the skirt. I can't find the image of Emily wearing the tan chiffon skirt from AA, but I still plan on getting that one:)

My guest review for AOL's Stylelist for the Style Council

Here's a pic of me trying the dress at the store that they didn't use...the shoes are my Manolo look-a-likes that I found at Newport News:)

I was really excited when someone from Styelist contacted me to say that they had my application for another program I tried to do with them, but they had a new project coming up called Style Council that they thought I would be interested in.  The project was for real women to go out and shop for a particular item and share their thoughts.  I, of course was excited to participate!  So far real women have shopped Old Navy, Banana Republic and now Ann Taylor (which is where I got to check things out:).

Rather than call before going in (like I do when styling a shoot) I just walked in like a normal customer off the street, and thank goodness the dress was there, but it was only in a XS.  But, being me, I still tried it...even though my size has gone up more than I want to admit since having my little baby:)  So, please check out my review and see what I thought of this great LBD sweater dress that's perfect for this fall!

LC's got the look...

I am ready to admit it...I used to watch The Hills to see what Lauren Conrad would wear...(I can't wait till her new reality show on MTV comes out...waiting for more info:) and when her first line came out...I actually would have bought pieces if the prices was way too much for a new, reality star designer...and alas...if Kohls was closer to where I live, I would have gone to check out her Kohls line a billion years ago:)  With all of that said...I was super excited to check out her new book, Lauren Conrad Style.  I knew it would have all of the "style" secrets from the looks I reworked from her past on The Hills and her street style looks I saw in US Weekly and Life & Style.  And, the book doesn't let you down...it also includes makeup tips which my sis and I were gushing over since we've always loved her cat eye look.  Speaking of beauty, I have not confirmed that she no longer is affiliated with meet mark, but she did recommend an eyeliner from the line that I have to try since I already love her eye makeup:)

Here are some looks from Kohls that have caught my eye (plus they are all on sale and Kohls always has some type of coupon each weekend!:):

Here is the post from Who What Where that Lauren guest edited...she is everywhere right now, so keep an eye out!
