Dear Fashionalities

Q.What ideas do you have for plus-sized ladies??? Do you know of any great designers, or style lines??? and the more economical the better.
A.I feel like fashion is for every-body...and there is a way to make each trend work for your body type. It is true that every woman does not look exactly like the women in the magazine's...so, just make what we see on magazine's and on tv look good for you. See a couple of trend staples and locations to find pieces that work for a variety of body types.

Trends:
Right now dresses and skirts are very "in" and are a great piece for all body types. For women with curves, the empire waist dress, the kimono sleeve dress and the bubble/full skirt styles are really flattering. You can pair these looks with the leggings trend, or a pair of tights and layer with a vest or blazer. See a couple of styles below.

empire dress sold @ http://www.anthropologie.com/ and is on sale for $149.95, come in both L and XL sizes

full skirt sold @ www.oldnavy.com $29.50

Kimono dress sold @ www.nordstrom.com $88

Now for stores that stock clothing for sizes above 10, these days there are a variety of stores with trendy clothes in an array of sizes. See a couple of stores below.
Old navy www.oldnavy.com has an area for Plus Size on the website and in the store
Torrid
www.torrid.com/
Dots www.dots.com/ You can't buy online, but there are great trend stories and you can locate a store near you.
Alright www.alright.com/
Walmart's line-Metro 7 Woman www.walmart.com
Marina Rinaldi (a British line for sizes 12-28) sold in Salon Z @Saks

Lane Bryant

Also, keep in mind to use Spanx, they are a girls best friend!
www.spanx.com. And accentuating the waist is a great way to accentuate your figure using a wide belt. And black is always a great figure slimmer for any shape.
